The problem
Alumni networks still run on directories, email blasts, and votes nobody can verify. Institutions need one platform for identity, community, and governance that scales across campuses without losing auditability — and most alumni tools stop at a directory, without touching chapters, fundraising, or elections in the same system.
The concept
Alumni Portal is designed as a white-label, multi-tenant operating system: biometric-style identity verification and a digital alumni card, chapters and events, careers and mentorship, fundraising, a benefits engine, and one-person-one-vote elections with an auditable trail — all under a superadmin console built for a university's advancement office.

A complete, polished interactive prototype covers the entire feature surface described above, with genuine Firebase sign-in:
- Real Google OAuth sign-in via Firebase Auth.
- A full UI across identity verification, the alumni directory, chapters, events, community, careers, mentorship, fundraising, and benefits.
- A dedicated 935-line registrar error-resolution workspace for handling SIS/registrar data-import failures — a genuinely deep admin tool, not a placeholder.
- A complete elections module — ballot flow, turnout meter, and audit-log display.
Upcoming features
The prototype above demonstrates the full intended experience. What's planned to turn it into a production system:
- A real, synced multi-tenant backend — today, application data is held in the browser's local storage for the demo; a genuine Firebase/Firestore connection exists in the codebase and is planned to become the live data layer.
- Real biometric verification — camera-based capture already works; face-matching and liveness detection are planned as the verification logic behind it.
- Real cryptographic election integrity — planned as actual hash-based record-sealing and a verifiable audit chain, in place of today's illustrative security indicators.
- SIS/registrar production connectors and institutional SSO.
